What features are available in the Hyundai Exter?

On the outside, the Exter gets split headlamps, a new grille, new front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, black roof rails, A-pillar-mounted ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, C-pillar-mounted rear door handles, a shark-fin antenna, and LED tail lights. Some of the segment unique features include dashboard camera, rear AC vents and wireless charger. 

Inside, the model, positioned below the Venue, comes equipped with a dual-tone interior theme, brushed aluminium insert for the inner door handles, 50:50 split rear seats with headrests, and a small front armrest with cup holders below it. It will have a seating capacity of five occupants.

What are the engine, performance, and specifications of the Hyundai Exter?

The Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder, NA Kappa petrol motor developing 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. This motor can be had with a five-speed manual unit and a five-speed AMT unit. You also get a CNG compatible version whose 1.2-litre engine produces 67bhp/95Nm and can only be had with a five-speed manual.

All variant of the Hyundai Exter are fitted with six airbags, VSC and ABS with EBD. The Exter micro-SUV has not been tested by an NCAP body.
